Blood Vines by Erica Spindler download in pdf, ePub, iPad
He has never forgotten her or the intense attraction that flowed between them and now that she is a guest in his house he fully intends to have her. It's as though we're meant to think this is part of some big mystery. For instance, when Detective Reed is calling to find out more about Alex's mother's suicide, the police officer in San Francisco tells him he found it odd that her pinky finger was broken. What also worked for me was the whole storyline. Even the ending was a tad befuddled.
The central stalk or stipe is surrounded by bare kelp blades but the top-most ones have many smaller protrusions. Alex goes to Sonoma to find who her father is, who took her baby brother and why her mother left her husband taking Alex with her. At its very top, there is a small mouth-like opening. Blood Vine is surprisingly original and erotic.
No where thoughout the book are we told why the finger was broken. This was also a great way to get to know the Hunters and their link to the vampires.
That was not a problem here. Not only is he intriguing on his own, but I loved his relationship with his sons.
It grows on the seabed, attached to an extensive root system. The story and characters felt forced. The characters were the highlight for me, as well as an intriguing plot that drew me right in, and clean writing. The story line is intricately detailed but never overwhelming. It means the difference between life and death.
